How we spray PU foam
- Base inspection. The surface must be dry, sound and clean: foam peels off a damp or dusty base.
- Masking. We cover windows, equipment and adjacent surfaces with film — sprayed foam drifts and is hard to clean off.
- Spraying in layers. We build up the required thickness in several passes, keeping to the temperature conditions specified by the material manufacturer.
- Thickness control. We check the insulation thickness over the whole area and top up spots thinner than designed.
- Protective coating. On exposed areas we immediately protect the foam from the sun — with paint or with polyurea, which we apply ourselves.
