FIREPROOFING TREATMENT

for steel structures, cables and wooden structures.

The process of applying fire-retardant coatings to structures begins with a comprehensive evaluation of design documentation, applicable regulatory standards, and building fire safety requirements. This foundational step guides the selection of a suitable fire-retardant coating system.

By increasing the fire resistance rating of structures, their load-bearing elements are better equipped to endure high temperatures during a fire while maintaining their load-bearing capacity. This improvement in the inherent fire resistance of the protected elements contributes to reducing the fire's extent, mitigating its spread, and preventing catastrophic collapse.

In accordance with the Uzbek Urban Development Norms and Regulations (SHNK) 2.01.02-04, "Fire Safety of Buildings and Structures," load-bearing structures and elements crucial for the structural frame's geometric integrity require a specific fire resistance rating. The design documentation must specify the required rating for protected load-bearing elements. Fire protection is typically achieved through specialized fire-retardant compounds. A detailed fire protection estimate is essential for accurate budgeting, encompassing material, machinery, equipment, and labor costs.

We provide fire protection painting services for new construction and renovation projects, following a structured process:

  1. Material and System Selection: We identify and select the optimal fire protection material or system based on project technical/operational parameters, customer requirements, and budget.
  2. Project Development and Approval: We develop the fire protection project and secure its approval from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  3. Material Procurement and Delivery: We purchase and deliver all necessary fire protection materials to the site.
  4. Application: We expertly apply fire protection compounds to the required structures.
  5. Documentation and Handover: We prepare as-built documentation for the fire protection painting and hand over the completed work to representatives of the general contractor and the customers.
  6. Quality Control Inspection: A representative from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan is invited to the site to verify coating thickness, conduct a visual inspection, and assess work quality.
  7. Official Sign-Off and Delivery: Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan sign a report on the completed fire protection work, which is then provided to the customer.

This sequence of work ensures successful project submission to the State Expertise and the State Architectural and Construction Supervision (GASN).

Preparing structures for fire protection with fire-retardant materials:

Enhancing the fire resistance of buildings and structures is a detailed process. It involves identifying which structures require enhanced protection, the delineation of the areas to be treated, and the type and quantity of fire-retardant coatings. Design development and fire protection calculations are the first and most important technical steps in preparing structures for fire-retardant painting, and therefore require special attention and diligent attention from qualified professionals. The preparatory stage includes a detailed examination of design documentation, an inspection of buildings and structures, the determination of all regulatory and technical parameters, and the examination of the elements to be fire-protected, the condition of the structures, and their suitability for application. We then select and conduct a feasibility study of the chosen solution. This study includes determining the quantity and types of fire-retardant paints required by the fire protection design, and estimating the total time and parameters of the fire protection work, based on projected costs.

After the final fire protection treatment project has been developed and approved by the Customer, as well as agreed upon with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, our company is prepared to commence the fire protection treatment of structures using fire-retardant compounds.

Main objectives of fire protection treatment

Fire protection treatment includes the following key functions:

  • Fire protection painting reduces the rate of fire spread within buildings and the risk of fire propagation to other structures.
  • Fire-retardant treatment increases the lifespan and resistance of structures to high temperatures, decreasing the risk of premature collapse.

Standard fire protection installation services

Our company offers fire protection and structural fire protection services:

In compliance with the requirements and standards of the Uzbek Urban Development Norms and Regulations (SHNK) 2.01.02-04 "Fire Safety of Buildings and Structures," the fire resistance of structures is being enhanced to R15-R120.

We safeguard buildings against fire and smoke. Our solutions prevent their spread through ventilation and smoke extraction systems during emergencies in residential and industrial properties.
